The latest updates for Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Season 2 have been announced, including the release date for the first Blu-ray and DVD volume and newly unveiled bonus illustrations.

Blu-ray and DVD Volume 1 Set for April Release

The first Blu-ray and DVD volume of the television anime Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Season 2 is scheduled for release on April 15. Alongside this announcement, a newly illustrated jacket visual produced by MADHOUSE and an exclusive mini illustration board drawn by original creator Tsukasa Abe have been revealed.

The jacket visual for Volume 1 features Frieren enjoying herself while reading a magic tome. Set in a softly lit room scattered with spellbooks and maps, the illustration captures Frieren completely absorbed in her reading, with a relaxed and cheerful expression that reflects her love for magic.

Exclusive Bonus Items Inspired by Episode 30

Continuing from Season 1, each volume will include a first run limited bonus featuring a mini illustration board drawn by Tsukasa Abe. The newly revealed artwork is inspired by Episode 30, The Hero of the South, which aired on January 23. It depicts the Hero of the South, once known as the strongest warrior of humanity, standing back to back with Frieren before she ever met Himmel and his companions.

Additional first run limited bonuses include an original sticker illustrated by Mebachi, who is known for the official deformed mini character designs, a set of five postcards, and a 24 page booklet featuring special interviews and discussions. Together, these items make Volume 1 a premium release for fans of the series.
