New Mini Anime Episode Connects Directly to Episode 29
The latest episode of the mini anime series ●● no Maho has been released on the TOHO animation YouTube channel, as well as on the official Frieren: Beyond Journey's End X and TikTok accounts. This newly revealed episode is titled The Spell That Binds Whoever Sees It.
Frieren: Beyond Journey's End ●● no Maho is an original scenario based mini anime series. It features official deformed character designs created by illustrator Mebachi, depicting Frieren and her companions as they test out various spells during their journey. To date, seventeen episodes have been released, and the series has gained popularity for its warm and lighthearted interactions that differ from the tone of the main anime.
In the newly released eighteenth episode, Spell of Binding, the mage Wirbel, voiced by Kisho Taniyama, makes his first appearance in the ●● no Maho series. Wirbel originally debuted during the First Class Mage Exam arc in season one and also appeared in season two episode 29.

The spell "Spell of Binding", also known as Sorganeil, is Wirbel’s signature magic. It immobilizes any target that enters his field of vision. This mini anime episode includes scenes that directly link to episode twenty nine of the main anime, while portraying a brief yet memorable moment featuring Wirbel alongside Frieren, Fern, and Stark.
