Io Sakisaka's New Serialization "Yume ka Utsutsu ka" Begins - A Love Story with a "Senpai"
Io Sakisaka, known for works such as "Ao Haru Ride," has started her new serialization "Yume ka Utsutsu ka" in the July issue of "Bessatsu Margaret," released today, the 13th. "Yume ka Utsutsu ka" is Sakisaka's first serialized work to depict a love story with a "senpai."
Sakisaka commented, "I was able to find a theme and protagonist I wanted to draw, and I am grateful to start a new serialization. I hope to create a manga that both long-time readers and those who haven't read my works yet will enjoy." The new serialization is featured on the cover and includes 73 pages in full color.
Synopsis
Iroha, a first-year high school student who struggles with conversing with others, finds solace in a senpai she met during her exam preparation period. She sneaks out of her classroom during breaks to spend time with her senpai, but the two share a secret... Io Sakisaka, who has consistently portrayed love stories between classmates, challenges a long-term serialization depicting a romance with a "senpai" for the first time.
