The television anime Agents of the Four Seasons: Spring is scheduled to air in spring 2026. Alongside this announcement, a winter themed visual and a promotional video have been released.

The newly unveiled visual and PV feature Rosei Kantsubaki, the Winter Agent, and his guardian Itecho Kangetsu

It has also been announced that Kensuke Ushio, known for composing background music for major works such as Chainsaw Man and Dandadan, will serve as the music composer for this anime.

The original novel series is written by Kana Akatsuki, the author of Violet Evergarden. The story follows the journey of living deities who bring the four seasons to the world and their guardians, portraying themes of loss and rebirth through a journey that delivers spring.

Known as the Agents of the Four Seasons, these figures are granted special powers by the gods of the seasons to circulate seasonal cycles across the land. However, after the Spring Agent Hinagiku Kayo disappeared, spring vanished from the country for ten years.

Sakura Himedaka, the guardian of spring, spent a decade desperately searching for her master. One day, Hinagiku suddenly returns, setting the story of Hinagiku and Sakura into motion once again.
