Kaiju Girl Caramelise Anime Announced for 2026 With PV Reveal and Star Studded Main Cast, Animation by LIDENFILMS
Kaiju Girl Caramelise has been officially announced as a television anime series, set to air in 2026. Along with the announcement, a teaser visual, promotional video, and full details on the main staff and cast were revealed.

The original manga Kaiju Girl Caramelise has been serialized since 2018 in Monthly Comic Alive. The story follows high school girl Kurowe Akaishi, who suffers from a mysterious and unexplained illness. As she begins to fall in love with Arata Minami, the most popular boy at her school, her emotions trigger an extraordinary phenomenon.

Despite its foundation as a classic shojo romance, the moment Kurowe’s feelings intensify, a massive kaiju named Halgon suddenly appears in Tokyo. This unexpected twist transforms the series into what has been described as the largest scale romantic comedy ever, completely overturning the conventions of traditional shojo manga.
