The fourth season of Classroom of the Elite will begin airing in April 2026, covering the second-year arc’s first semester. The announcement was accompanied by the release of the first key visual, the initial promotional video, and newly revealed cast members.

The new key visual features second-year students Kiyotaka Ayanokoji and Suzune Horikita, alongside three first-year characters who play major roles in the upcoming storyline: Tsubasa Nanase, Sakura Tsubaki, and Ichika Amasawa. The first PV showcases Ayanokoji as a second-year student, offering a mysterious look at the incoming first-years along with their character voices.

Additionally, six new first-year characters and their voice actors were unveiled for Season 4. Minako Sato will voice Tsubasa Nanase, Hiroya Egashira will play Kazuomi Hoson, Momoko Seto will portray Ichika Amasawa, Shinnosuke Tokudome will play Takuya Yagami, Iori Saeki will voice Sakurako Tsubaki, and Shogo Sakata will voice Riku Utsunomiya.

The anime adapts the hit light novel series first published under MF Bunko J in 2015, which has surpassed a cumulative 8.4 million copies in print. The story follows Kiyotaka Ayanokoji and his classmates in Class 1-D at the Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing High School, an institution built on strict meritocracy where students compete for survival in a system that rewards ability above all else.
