Oblivion Battery Season 2 has officially been confirmed for broadcast in 2027. Alongside the announcement, a teaser visual and a newly unveiled promotional video were released, marking the launch of the “Oblivion Event Project,” a multi stage initiative designed to build excitement toward the second season.

The newly revealed video serves as the teaser visual announcement for Oblivion Battery Season 2 and features newly recorded voice lines from the main cast. Toshiki Masuda voices Haruka Kiyomine, Mamoru Miyano appears as Kei Kaname, Yohei Azakami plays Aoi Todo, Nobunaga Shimazaki voices Shunpei Chihaya, and Yuki Kaji takes on the role of Taro Yamada. The video highlights fresh performances recorded specifically for this announcement.

Oblivion Event Project to Celebrate the Anime and Build Momentum

The Oblivion Event Project will begin in April 2026 to commemorate the second anniversary of the television anime broadcast. As part of the celebration, a special program titled “TV Anime Broadcast Second Anniversary Double Play Special” will be streamed.

In the summer of 2026, the project will continue with the “Oblivion Battery Season 1 Retrospective Screening Relay.” This event series will feature multiple theatrical screenings of Season 1, each accompanied by stage greetings from cast members, held in a relay format across different venues.

The series is widely praised for its portrayal of high school baseball through the perspective of an amnesiac protagonist, its compelling cast of characters, its realistic dramatic storytelling, and its well balanced blend of comedy and serious themes. The television anime adaptation aired from April to July 2024.
