Mission: Yozakura Family Season 2 has been officially confirmed to premiere in April 2026, airing in the Sunday evening anime block on MBS and TBS. Alongside the broadcast announcement, a teaser promotional video has been released, revealing that Kaito Ishikawa will voice the new character Kosuke Michibata.

The newly released PV opens with the energetic voice of heroine Mutsumi Yozakura and immediately sets a lively tone. It features scenes from the Silver Rank Spy Exam, the appearance of new characters, and fast paced developments that signal an acceleration of the story. The footage builds anticipation for the next chapter of the series with a strong sense of momentum.

The PV also introduces Kosuke Michibata, a classmate of protagonist Taiyo Asano. Kosuke describes himself as a perpetually unlucky spy whose presence is barely noticeable. Despite his self proclaimed underdog status, he leaves a distinct impression as a character who adds chaos and humor to the narrative.

Mission: Yozakura Family follows Taiyo Asano, a high school student who becomes emotionally withdrawn after losing his family in an accident. His life takes an unexpected turn when he marries into the historic Yozakura family, a lineage of elite spies, leading him into a turbulent yet heartwarming daily life filled with love and comedy.

The original manga began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in August 2019 and concluded in January 2025 after approximately five and a half years. The series has surpassed 3.6 million copies in circulation. The first season of the television anime aired from April to October 2024.
