Manga 'Mission: Yozakura Family' Concludes After 5.5 Years; Final Volume to Release in March
The popular manga Mission: Yozakura Family concluded its run in the 8th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump, released on January 20. After captivating readers for approximately 5.5 years since its debut in August 2019, the series has drawn to a close.

A Story of Spies, Family, and Comedy
Created by Hitsuji Gondaira, the series follows Taiyo Asano, an extremely shy high school student who only feels comfortable speaking with his childhood friend, Mutsumi Yozakura. However, Mutsumi turns out to be the daughter of the world’s most formidable spy family. Through an unexpected twist of events, Taiyo marries Mutsumi and becomes part of the Yozakura family, plunging him into the dangerous yet comedic world of espionage alongside Mutsumi’s eccentric siblings.
Since its serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump, the series has exceeded 3 million copies in circulation. It was also adapted into a TV anime that aired from April to October 2024, with a second season currently in production.
Final Volume and Author’s Message
The 29th and final volume of the manga will be released on March 4. Reflecting on the series' success, creator Hitsuji Gondaira expressed gratitude to fans and collaborators:

He humorously added:
