Ace of Diamond act II Returns After Six Years: Second Season Premieres in April 2026 as Seido Baseball Club Reunites in New PV

Ace of Diamond act II is set to make its long awaited return as a sequel titled Ace of Diamond act II Second Season, which will begin airing in April 2026 on TV Tokyo and affiliated networks. This marks the first new season in six years since the final episode of the first season aired in March 2020. Alongside the announcement, a key visual and the first promotional video have been released.

Seido Baseball Club Reassembles in Key Visual and PV

The newly revealed key visual centers on Eijun Sawamura, who appears highly motivated inside the dugout, flanked by Satoru Furuya and Kazuya Miyuki standing on either side of him. The illustration captures the intense atmosphere just before a game, conveying the trio’s fighting spirit through their determined expressions.

The promotional video continues directly from the key visual, showing members of the Seido High School baseball team stepping onto the field. It depicts the regular players fired up following what appears to be Sawamura’s pregame mound declaration. Sawamura is shown gripping a rosin bag with burning determination, while Miyuki stands ahead of him, catcher’s mitt ready, meeting Sawamura’s gaze.

In addition, a limited time marathon streaming of the television anime series will be available on YouTube from the 24th through January 6, 2026. The official website has also been updated with a newly refreshed introduction and character pages for 40 characters. New character visuals for Sawamura, Furuya, and Miyuki have been unveiled, and all character profiles have been revised for this new series.

About Ace of Diamond

Ace of Diamond is a popular baseball manga that began serialization in Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2006. The story follows Eijun Sawamura, who enrolls in an elite baseball school and strives for Koshien alongside his teammates. The second part of the manga, Ace of Diamond act II, began in 2015 and depicted Sawamura’s journey as a second year student making his Koshien debut, along with Seido High School baseball club’s new challenges. The manga concluded in October 2022, bringing the 16 year long series to an end.

The anime adaptation began airing in 2013, with the first season of Ace of Diamond act II broadcast from 2019 to 2020. The franchise has also been adapted into stage plays and enjoys strong popularity, including among professional baseball players. Notable fans include Shohei Ohtani and Kodai Senga, both of whom have cited the manga as an influence during their student days.
