Ace of Diamond act II Returns After 6 Years with Second Season Set for 2026 Broadcast
Popular baseball anime Ace of Diamond act II will return with its long-awaited sequel, titled Ace of Diamond act II Second Season, airing in 2026 on TV Tokyo and other networks. This marks the first new season in six years, following the first season’s finale which aired in March 2020.

A newly released teaser visual features protagonist Eijun Sawamura in his signature high-leg pitching form, alongside a powerful side profile of Kazuya Miyuki, capturing their unwavering spirit.
Voice actor Ryota Ohsaka, who plays Eijun Sawamura, expressed his excitement about the upcoming sequel:
“At long last—it’s finally happening. We’ve come this far thanks to everyone’s support! And now that we’ve made it here, I want to see it through to the end! We still need your strength! About
The manga Ace of Diamond originally began serialization in 2006 in Weekly Shonen Magazine (Kodansha), chronicling the journey of Eijun Sawamura as he enters a prestigious baseball school and strives for the Koshien tournament alongside his teammates. In 2015, the second part of the story, Ace of Diamond act II, began. It followed Sawamura’s growth into his second year and his Koshien debut. The series concluded in October 2022, bringing a 16-year saga to an end.
The anime adaptation first aired in 2013, with the first season of act II running from 2019 to 2020. The franchise has also been adapted into stage plays and enjoys a strong following among professional baseball players. Notably, stars such as Shohei Ohtani and Kodai Senga were avid readers during their school days, illustrating the series’ far-reaching influence on the baseball world.
