"Mechanical Marie" is a heartfelt romantic comedy featuring Marie, a former genius martial artist with little facial expression, and Arthur, the heir of a powerful conglomerate. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Marie ends up serving as a "robotic maid" to the misanthropic Arthur. She devotes herself to protecting him from relentless assassins, all while hiding the fact that she's human—a story that promises laughter, tears, and warmth.

Q1. What do you find appealing about this series?
It’s the classic slapstick rom-com! You’ll feel butterflies as the story gradually nurtures romance under the unshakable rule that “she must never be found out as human.” While danger is always close by, there are calm and charming moments too. Most of all, I love how the story expresses the warmth of cherishing someone—and being cherished in return.
Q2. How do you feel about playing Marie?
Though she appears expressionless, Marie’s heart is a storm of emotions. I think she’s incredibly endearing in how sincere and devoted she is. People might say she’s robotic, but at her core, she’s warm, kind, and earnest. I want to portray her growing feelings for Arthur with great care and sensitivity.

Q1. What do you find appealing about this series?
Despite its seemingly serious tone, the dynamic between stoic Marie and emotionally guarded Arthur is depicted in a pop and comedic fashion alongside a lively cast. Watching their subtle, evolving expressions makes you appreciate the charm of love. Also, Marie is just... very cute. Extremely cute. That’s important.
Q2. How do you feel about playing Arthur?
Though comedic, Arthur has a clear core. He’s cool, but he also has his adorable sides. His emotions shift dramatically from scene to scene, especially when interacting with Marie or other characters. I want to tap into every corner of my expressive range for this role. It’s a type of main character I haven’t often played before, so I’m truly looking forward to it.
