Jujutsu Kaisen is a dark fantasy that begins when the seal of a powerful cursed object is broken, drawing high school student Yuji Itadori into the world of battles involving curses. The original manga, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from March 2018 to September 2024, has surpassed 100 million copies in circulation.
The first season of the TV anime aired from October 2020 to March 2021, followed by the December 2021 theatrical release of Jujutsu Kaisen 0, which achieved a global box office of 26.5 billion yen. Season 2 aired from July to December 2023, and the theatrical compilation “Shibuya Incident Special Edition” × “Culling Game: Advance Screening” is currently in theaters. Season 3, Jujutsu Kaisen: Culling Game – Part One, will premiere in January 2026.

Upon entering the venue, visitors are welcomed by a life-size Yuji Itadori figure, crafted with remarkable attention to detail. Behind it, a monitor displays a newly drawn visual featuring first-year students in their Tokyo Jujutsu High uniforms alongside Gojo and his companions from the “Hidden Inventory and Premature Death” era, transcending time.

Enoki shared his impressions:
“It feels refreshing seeing everyone facing forward with a smile. The way Yuji’s and Gojo’s hands are posed also reflects their personalities, which is great.”

The exhibition continues in chronological order, beginning with Hidden Inventory and Premature Death and moving into the Shibuya Incident. Character visuals, prop designs, background art, storyboards and original drawings are presented generously, offering insight into the design details and scale of various props. Fans can revisit the story while gaining a clearer view of each scene through production materials.

Each section is set up with room-style installations that capture the mood of the episodes. Enoki commented:
“There are areas arranged like actual sets from the anime. The atmosphere feels so real that even the temperature of the scenes seems to come through. I really enjoyed that level of detail.”

In the Hidden Inventory area, snapshots from Gojo and Geto’s time as students are displayed like photos on a friend’s bedroom wall, evoking a strong sense of nostalgia. At the end of the section, the word “Gate Open” from the Shibuya Incident appears, leading visitors through a realistic train ticket gate. Beyond it lies a room illuminated in ominous red light, with character design sheets of sorcerers, curse users and curses lining the walls. At the center, the Prison Realm blinks slowly as it stares outward.

Another corner features a three-screen theater showing special footage. Enoki recalled watching the scene of Yuji’s anguished cries after the destruction of Shibuya:
“It had a cinematic level of intensity. Seeing it on such a large screen reminded me of the recording sessions. I recorded that scene alone, and the loneliness of the studio came back to me. It hit me again how painful that moment truly is.”

The exhibition also showcases a collection of visuals from across the series, including magazine features from past years. Photo spots are plentiful: visitors can take pictures in a classroom with Gojo and his classmates from their student days, or alongside a lineup of life-size character panels. Fans can fully immerse themselves in the world of the series and take home lasting memories.

The audio guide features newly recorded, exhibition-exclusive voiceovers by Junya Enoki (Yuji Itadori), Yuma Uchida (Megumi Fushiguro), Yuichi Nakamura (Satoru Gojo) and Takahiro Sakurai (Suguru Geto). Enoki explained his approach:
“I felt it was our role to highlight the appeal and key points of each display. I wanted the guide to flow comfortably as people walk through the venue. I read my lines imagining myself walking around and looking at the exhibits. Please enjoy listening however you like.”
