In a video message, Yonezu shared his impressions:
"My name is Kenshi Yonezu. I wrote the theme song IRIS OUT and the ending theme JANE DOE for the movie Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc. I recently watched the finished movie at a special screening, and I was deeply moved by how incredible it was. My music was treated with care and love. I'm very thankful to have found such a great production and an exceptional team."

He also shared details about the music video that will be released at the same time:
"IRIS OUT" has been released with a music video that uses real footage from the film. We used the theatrical footage because the trailer was really great. It showed how talented and passionate the creators were, and it made me want to ask if we could use it in the music video. The trailer was so well-made that even the sound effects, like 'boom' and 'bang,' perfectly matched the highlights. I thought, why not use those sounds in the song itself? That's how the track got some of the same elements as the trailer. I hope everyone will enjoy the film and the two songs, IRIS OUT and JANE DOE, together."
