The synopsis and preview images for the fourth episode of the new anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - Hashira Training Arc, titled "Able to Smile (tentative title
)," have been released.

In Episode 4, after successfully completing his training under Uzui, Tanjiro deepens his bonds with the Demon Slayer Corps members and reaffirms his vow with Uzui to defeat Muzan Kibutsuji. When they arrive at the Tokito residence next, Muichiro is already engaged in intense training with the corps members. The Hashira Training Arc follows the story from volumes 15 to 16 of the original manga, where Tanjiro and his friends undergo training from the top swordsmen of the Demon Slayer Corps, known as the Hashira, to become even stronger.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is based on the manga of the same name, which was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from February 2016 to May 2020. The manga has surpassed 150 million copies in circulation. Set in the Taisho era, the story follows a young boy named Tanjiro Kamado, whose family is slaughtered by demons, and his sister Nezuko is turned into a demon. Tanjiro joins the Demon Slayer Corps to avenge his family and find a way to turn Nezuko back into a human.

The first season of the anime aired from April to September 2019, becoming a social phenomenon due to its immense popularity. The story continued with the film Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train, which was released in October 2020 and became a massive hit, grossing over 40 billion yen in Japan. The second season, Entertainment District Arc, aired from December 2021, followed by the third season, Swordsmith Village Arc, which began airing in April 2023.
