"Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc" covers the episodes from volumes 15-16 of the original manga, where Tanjiro and his friends undergo training from the highest-ranking swordsmen in the Demon Slayer Corps, the Hashira, to become even stronger. The "Demon Slayer" series is based on the manga serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from February 2016 to May 2020, and has sold over 150 million copies. Set in the Taisho era, it tells the story of Tanjiro Kamado, a boy whose family was slaughtered by demons and whose sister Nezuko was turned into a demon. To avenge his family and turn Nezuko back into a human, Tanjiro joins the Demon Slayer Corps and embarks on a journey. The first season of the TV anime aired from April to September 2019, gaining immense popularity and becoming a social phenomenon. The series continued with the film "Demon Slayer: Mugen Train," which was released in October 2020, grossing over 40 billion yen domestically. The second season, "Entertainment District Arc," aired from December 2021, and the third season, "Swordsmith Village Arc," aired from April 2023.
