In the second selection, genius striker Seishiro Nagi faces Rin Itoshi, the top player in "Blue Lock (Blue Prison)." Rin is a super-egoist known for his strong offensive and insightful abilities, as well as his aggressive play and demeanor. The film depicts how Seishiro Nagi reacts to encountering a top player who surpasses him for the first time and follows the outcome of their battle. "Blue Lock" is based on the manga of the same name serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine. The story revolves around a national project in Japan to create a forward player with overwhelming egotism, a trait the Japanese team lacked in the World Cup.
