Episode 8 Story

According to Yūlong’s investigation, Miyuki Hebinuma learns that Reiko Kujirai B died three years ago due to a drug overdose. Hebinuma feels a sense of destiny with Kujirai B, who once lived in the Second Kowloon district that she herself demolished.

Meanwhile, Reiko Kujirai is deeply shaken to discover that there are people who can’t perceive her existence. As her very identity wavers, Hajime Kudou’s promise—"I won't go anywhere"—gives her a reason to carry on.

At the same time, Yaomay travels to Hong Kong to investigate Kowloon and connects with someone online who claims to know the current truth about it.

Series Synopsis

Reiko Kujirai, who works at a real estate agency in the nostalgia-filled Kowloon Walled City, finds herself drawn to her senior coworker, Hajime Kudou. After realizing her feelings, she discovers an old photo revealing that Kudou once had a fiancée—who looked exactly like her.

Set in a mysteriously beautiful city, the story unfolds with hidden emotions turning into silent wishes, eventually leading to a shocking truth. As the past, present, and future intertwine, love begins to unravel the secrets hidden in Kowloon.
