The preview images and story summary for Episode 7 of the TV anime Kowloon Generic Romance have been released. The episode is set to premiere on May 18 (Sun) at 12:00 a.m. JST on the TV Tokyo network, followed by a global streaming release.

Episode 7 Story

Miyuki Hebinuma, who had been wandering around Kowloon and collapsed at a dance club, begins to recall an event from three years ago after encountering Tao Gwen.

Later, he reconnects with Reiko Kujirai, who visits him in her capacity as a real estate agent, and they carve out some time to talk privately.

During their conversation, Reiko asserts that she is no longer the same person as Kujirai B and that she intends to live on as her true self. Hebinuma, however, calls her a "generic" or derivative existence.

Reiko later confides in Yaomay about this exchange—but what will come of it...?

Series Synopsis

Reiko Kujirai, who works at a real estate agency in the nostalgia-filled Kowloon Walled City, finds herself drawn to her senior coworker, Hajime Kudou. After realizing her feelings, she discovers an old photo revealing that Kudou once had a fiancée—who looked exactly like her.

Set in a mysteriously beautiful city, the story unfolds with hidden emotions turning into silent wishes, eventually leading to a shocking truth. As the past, present, and future intertwine, love begins to unravel the secrets hidden in Kowloon.
