The latest wave of Pokemon Fit plushies, themed around the Alola region from Pokémon Sun & Moon and Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, launched on May 8 via Pokémon Center Online Japan. This new Pokemon Fit lineup introduces 116 Alola region Pokémon, including regional forms, bringing the total number of plushies in the series to over 900 species. While in-store sales will begin on May 10, fans online were stunned to see niche Pokémon disappearing so quickly from the digital shelves.

Reactions online included:

“These four selling out the fastest? Definitely unexpected. Popular ones probably had higher stock, so maybe these are sleeper favorites the official team didn’t predict?”
“I wanted the Pom-Pom Style Oricorio so bad, but it was already sold out—devastated!”
“Okay, I get Lurantis being gone, but Dhelmise?! Didn’t see that coming. And only the Pom-Pom Style Oricorio is gone? Totally the influence of PokePoke, right? 😂”

The plushie frenzy even caused Dhelmise to trend on X (formerly Twitter), showcasing how strong fan enthusiasm can be for underappreciated Pokémon when they're offered in cuddly, collectible form.
