Immersive “Adventure Ad” Featuring Pokémon Appears in Shibuya: Pikachu, Sprigatito, Piplup, and More Race Through Nature
To celebrate the release of the second collaboration between sun care brand Anessa and Pokémon, a new transportation advertisement themed “Let’s Go on Our Next Adventure” has started appearing inside Tokyo’s Shibuya Station. Featuring 12 Pokémon, including Pikachu, Sprigatito, and Piplup, the wide-format ad unrolls like a picture scroll across the station walls.

With the theme “Let’s Go on Our Next Adventure,” the collaboration promotes a message encouraging everyone to shine under the sun. Conveying the idea that “an adventure means gathering a little courage to change something,” Anessa and Pokémon aim to support everyone as they take a step toward their next journey.

Spanning an impressive 22 meters in length, the ultra-wide design depicts Pikachu, Sprigatito, Piplup, and other Pokémon dashing through a sun-drenched natural landscape. The ad seeks to create an immersive experience, making passersby feel as if they are embarking on an adventure with the Pokémon. A total of 12 Pokémon appear in the ad, revealed sequentially along with a conceptual story, much like a picture scroll unfolding.
Alongside the transportation ad, the "Anessa × Pokémon ‘Let’s Go on Our Next Adventure’ Campaign" is also being held. Participants who share a photo or story of their adventures (such as outings or new challenges) with an Anessa × Pokémon collaboration product during the application period will have a chance to win a special gift.
In this second collaboration, Pikachu, Sprigatito, and Piplup are featured on the limited-edition packaging for Anessa Perfect UV Skincare Milk NA, which was released in limited quantities across Japan starting on the 21st.
The immersive Anessa × Pokémon "Adventure Ad" will be displayed from April 28 to May 4 at the Dogenzaka Happy Board B-side in Shibuya Station, Tokyo.
