In anticipation of the new “Mega Voltage” arc of the Pokémon Horizons anime, premiering on April 11, a special digest video has been released, offering fans a comprehensive look back at the series’ journey over the past two years.

The video condenses all 89 episodes into approximately eight minutes, capturing the essence of the story that follows protagonists Liko and Roy as they begin their adventures alongside their partner Pokémon, Sprigatito and Fuecoco, respectively. It spans from the duo’s first steps toward their dreams to the dramatic conclusion involving Laqua.

Packed with highlights, the digest showcases memorable moments such as Liko and Roy’s first encounter with the Rising Volt Tacklers, their trials against the Six Hero Pokémon, intense battles with the Explorers, and heartwarming interactions with various Pokémon. It serves as a perfect refresher for longtime viewers and an engaging introduction for newcomers ahead of the new chapter.

Additionally, the episode airing on April 11 will be a special one-hour broadcast, marking a grand kickoff for the “Mega Voltage” arc.

The story continues one year after the decisive battle at Laqua. Roy, still journeying with Captain Pikachu, hears reports of unusual Pokémon behavior and investigates. During his search, he encounters Ult and his Sableye. Deep in the forest, they witness a Slaking rampaging under the influence of Laquium—the mysterious substance thought to have vanished. Meanwhile, Liko is now a student at Indigo Academy.

The new arc follows Liko and her partner Meowscarada at school, while Roy continues his adventure with Fuecoco. The two reunited protagonists embark on a new journey alongside Captain Pikachu. With Dot and their newest companion Ult joining the group, the story centers on "recovering something important."

The new character Ult is voiced by Natsumi Fujiwara, who commented,
