The upcoming MV beautifully fuses original manga illustrations by NARUTO creator Masashi Kishimoto with “Lovers,” the upbeat and emotionally resonant opening theme song from the anime series NARUTO Shippuden (aired on TV Tokyo). The result is a visually and emotionally compelling experience that brings back iconic moments from the series while giving fans a fresh way to relive Naruto's journey.
NARUTO first debuted in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1999 and quickly grew into one of the most beloved manga series of all time. It follows the story of Naruto Uzumaki, an underdog ninja striving to gain recognition and become Hokage. The anime adaptation began in 2002, and the original manga concluded in 2014 with a total of 700 chapters. Despite its conclusion, the series remains a global phenomenon through merchandise, video games, and special events. It has sold over 250 million copies worldwide. In 2006, Naruto was uniquely selected as one of Newsweek Japan’s “100 Most Respected Japanese People,” an extraordinary honor for a fictional character.

The story continues today with BORUTO: TWO BLUE VORTEX, a sequel currently serialized in V Jump. Kishimoto serves as the original creator and supervisor, with art by Mikio Ikemoto.
seven oops (7!!), the band behind “Lovers,” hails from Okinawa and consists of three members. Formed in 2004 while still in high school, they celebrated their 20th anniversary last year. The band’s name comes from lead vocalist NANAE’s name, and since their major debut in 2011, they’ve contributed theme songs to numerous anime and TV dramas. “Lovers,” in particular, stands out as a fan-favorite track due to its association with NARUTO Shippuden.
