[Japan Travel] NARUTO×BORUTO Fuji Hidden Leaf Village Celebrates 5th Anniversary!
To commemorate the 5th anniversary of "NARUTO×BORUTO Fuji Hidden Leaf Village" at Fuji-Q Highland, a special event was held today, the 26th, featuring guest appearances by talents and fans of "NARUTO" and "BORUTO," Rika Adachi and Rina Ikoma.
The two celebrities, who participated in the opening event five years ago on July 26, 2019, expressed their joy in returning to celebrate the milestone: "It’s wonderful to come back here with the same members after five years since the opening. We will continue to support 'NARUTO×BORUTO Fuji Hidden Leaf Village' for the next 10, 20 years." The event included a rock-paper-scissors tournament where fans could win free passes to Fuji-Q Highland and exclusive macarons, thrilling the approximately 300 fans in attendance.
This summer, the village opened a new area called "Nindo-kan," where visitors can fully enjoy the world of "NARUTO Shippuden" by experiencing various ninja techniques and taking photos at the new "Ninjutsu Training Grounds." The village also features new Japanese-themed photo spots, including a torii gate. After the event, Adachi and Ikoma practiced chakra molding to perform a giant Rasengan, fought Sasuke with their newly acquired Rasengan skills, and participated in various ninja activities. They also made wishes on ema plaques at the village shrine.
Starting today, the 5th-anniversary project will gradually unveil new illustrations of popular characters from "NARUTO" and "BORUTO." The first illustration features Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno, and Kakashi Hatake celebrating the anniversary in front of the "A-Un Gate" of Fuji Hidden Leaf Village.
