A brand-new TV special is officially in the works for the anime I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in the Real World, Too. The announcement was made during the AnimeJapan 2025 stage event held on March 22.

At the TMS/SEGA booth stage, voice actors Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Yuya Tenjo), Akari Kito (Kaori Hojo), and Kaori Maeda (Lexia von Arselia) appeared to look back on highlights from the first season and share their enthusiasm with fans. One segment titled “I Got an Appraisal Skill at AJ and Became Unrivaled at the Iseleve Stage” featured Kito and Maeda acting out memorable season one scenes using only gestures, energizing the audience with their performance.

At the conclusion of the stage event, the much-anticipated announcement of the new TV special was made, drawing cheers from the crowd. Each cast member took the opportunity to express their excitement and hopes for the upcoming special.

A new visual and promotional video were also unveiled, showcasing the protagonist Yuya. The reveal has only heightened anticipation among fans eager to see what's next in Yuya’s extraordinary journey across two worlds.
