The upcoming anime adaptation of The Exiled Heavy Knight Knows How to Game the System, based on the manga serialized in Kodansha’s Young Magazine, is officially set to air in 2026. Alongside the announcement, the second teaser PV and main cast & staff details have been revealed.

A Story of Redemption and Strategy

The anime is adapted from the light novel originally published on Shōsetsuka ni Narō, where it ranked #1 in the platform’s annual rankings as of January 1, 2022. The novel was later renamed and serialized as a manga on YanMaga Web in February 2022 before moving to Young Magazine. The adaptation is being produced by GoHands.

The story follows Elma, a noble who is cast out of his household after manifesting the supposedly “defective” class of Heavy Knight. Stripped of his rightful inheritance, he is exiled from the House of Edvan. However, Elma soon regains memories of his past life and realizes that this world is identical to a game he once played. With his game knowledge, he embarks on a new journey as an adventurer, proving that the Heavy Knight class is actually one of the strongest and turning the world’s perception upside down.
