It has been officially announced that Tune In to the Midnight Heart, a popular romantic comedy manga, will receive a TV anime adaptation in 2026. Along with this announcement, a teaser visual and the first promotional video (PV) featuring the heroine’s whispering voice have been unveiled.

Currently serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine (Kodansha), Tune In to the Midnight Heart is a hit romantic comedy by Masakuni Igarashi. The story follows four heroines from the broadcasting club who pursue their dreams related to “voice” – whether as a singer, voice actress, VTuber, or announcer. Meanwhile, the protagonist is on a mission to find the identity of his favorite anonymous radio host, "Apollo," relying solely on her voice.

Teaser Visual Captures the Dream-Chasing Heroines

The teaser visual features the four heroines of Kaedehayashi High School’s broadcasting club, each with a unique dream:

The campaign invites fans to guess the voice actresses behind the heroines, as their identities remain undisclosed in the PV. Participants who correctly identify the cast will be entered into a lottery to win an exclusive sticker signed by the cast members.

Arisu Yamabuki, heir to a prestigious family, strives for perfection in every aspect of life. Yet, he still seeks the final 1% to complete his ideal self.

That missing piece? The voice of Apollo, a mysterious radio host he once listened to every night on Tune In to the Midnight Heart. However, at the end of his first year in junior high, Apollo suddenly stopped broadcasting without any warning.

Now, as a second-year high school student, Arisu devises a plan and enrolls in Kaedehayashi High School, which has recently transitioned to a co-ed system. His only clue to finding Apollo? Her voice.

One day, Arisu hears a familiar voice and rushes toward its source—only to find himself in the broadcasting club. There, he meets four girls, each striving to pursue a career in voice-related fields.
