The highly anticipated second season of the TV anime Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End (Sousou no Frieren) has been confirmed to premiere in January 2026 on the Nippon TV network. Season 2 will adapt the story from Chapter 61 of the original manga, which is included in Volume 7 of the series.

A second teaser visual has been unveiled, depicting Frieren, Fern, and Stark enjoying a peaceful moment in a hot spring footbath during sunset. The visual’s tagline reads, “A silly, irreplaceable adventure.” Fans of the manga will recognize this as a reference to a particular character’s dialogue, which resonates with the emotions and experiences of the three protagonists.

Voice Actress Atsumi Tanezaki Shares Her Thoughts

Following the announcement of the 2026 premiere and the new teaser visual, Atsumi Tanezaki, the voice actress for Frieren, shared her excitement:
