At the Sound! Euphonium 10th Anniversary Event held at Pacifico Yokohama National Grand Hall in Japan, it was announced that Final Movement Sound! Euphonium is officially in production and will hit theaters in 2026.

Kyoto Animation’s Sound! Euphonium is a highly acclaimed anime series centered around a high school concert band. Since its TV anime debut in April 2015, the franchise has grown to include three TV seasons, five theatrical releases—including spin-off films and special editions—and is now celebrating its 10th anniversary. With breathtaking animation, captivating music, and the inspiring story of the determined Kitauji High School concert band striving for national gold, the series has deeply moved audiences worldwide.

During the anniversary event, the announcement was accompanied by a teaser visual and a special production video. The PV featured a retrospective of the past 10 years, culminating in the grand reveal of the 2026 theatrical release. Fans who have journeyed with Eupho for years erupted in cheers, many moved to tears.

The teaser visual showcases protagonist Kumiko Oumae leaping joyfully against a bright blue sky, symbolizing the soaring spirit of the final chapter.
