Episode 6 of You and Idol Pretty Cure (キミとアイドルプリキュア♪), the 22nd installment in the Pretty Cure anime series, has released its story preview and early scene stills. Episode 6 will air on Sunday, March 9, at 8:30 AM on Japanese TV, followed by international streaming on various platforms.

Episode6 Story

On their way to school, Uta Sakura (VA: Misato Matsuoka) and Nana Aokaze (VA: Minami Takahashi) excitedly chat with their classmates about Pretty Cure. Along the way, they spot Kokoro Shigure (VA: Natsumi Takamori), who is dancing to a Cure Idol song. Curious, they call out to her.

Kokoro, a first-year middle school student, is the president of the Cure Idol & Cure Wink Research Club and is acquainted with Mikoto, a classmate of Uta.

Meanwhile, Purirun, intrigued by the research club, secretly sneaks away from Uta during lunch break to visit the clubroom. There, Kokoro and other members excitedly watch footage of Cure Idol’s performances. Seeing Kokoro’s enthusiasm, Purirun wishes to befriend her.

After school, Purirun follows Kokoro but unexpectedly runs into her at an idol shop. In a shocking twist, Kokoro discovers that Purirun is actually a fairy from KiraKiLand—what will happen next?

About You and Idol Pretty Cure

The theme of You and Idol Pretty Cure revolves around idols. With the belief that "Because you're here, I can shine and become stronger!", the Pretty Cure idols sing, dance, and engage with fans, using their performances to restore Kirakira to those who have lost it.

The story follows Uta Sakura, a second-year middle school student who loves to sing. One day, she meets Purirun, a fairy searching for the Idol Pretty Cure, the legendary savior of Kirakiland. Kirakiland has been plunged into darkness by Darkine, the leader of the Chokkiri Gang.

As the Chokkiri Gang begins stealing the Kirakira from townspeople, a desperate Uta declares, "I want to bring back the Kirakkiranran feeling! With my song!" Her determination resonates, and she transforms into the legendary Cure Idol.
