New ‘Hell Teacher Nube’ Anime Unveils Additional Cast & PV After 26 Years

The highly anticipated new TV anime Hell Teacher Nube (set to air on TV Asahi in July) has revealed additional cast and staff details. Among the newly announced cast, Ryoko Shiraishi will play Hiroshi Tateno, Aya Suzaki will voice Kyoko Inaba, Tomoyo Kurosawa will portray Miki Hosokawa, Ryota Iwasaki will voice Katsuya Kimura, and Shiho Kokido will take on the role of Makoto Kurita. Additionally, Aya Endo will play Ritsuko Takahashi, the homeroom teacher of Class 5-2, while Ai Kakuma will voice Yukime. In a thrilling return, Tomokazu Morikawa is reprising his role as Kyosuke Tamamo, Nube’s greatest rival.

New PV and Visuals Released

Alongside the cast announcement, a new PV and key visuals have been unveiled. The PV features dramatic scenes, including students seeking Nube’s help as eerie events unfold in Domori Town. Viewers also get a glimpse of the enigmatic young man, Tamamo, who exudes a menacing aura and seems to know Nube. The video also introduces Yukime, a girl who claims to be Nube’s fiancée, and action-packed moments where Nube unleashes the power of his Oni no Te (Demon Hand) to combat supernatural threats.

About Hell Teacher Nube

Originally serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1993 to 1999, Hell Teacher Nube is a supernatural school-action series about Meisuke Nueno (aka Nube), a spiritualist teacher with a Demon Hand who protects his students from ghosts, spirits, and other supernatural entities. The series has sold over 29 million copies and gained popularity for its blend of horror and heroism. A TV anime adaptation aired from 1996 to 1997, followed by a live-action drama in 2014 starring Ryuhei Maruyama (SUPER EIGHT).

A Long-Awaited Return After 26 Years

This new anime marks the first animated adaptation of Hell Teacher Nube in 26 years since the 1999 OVA Hell Teacher Nube: The Greatest Battle!! The Arrival of Zekki!!. The setting has been modernized to fit contemporary times. Ryuutarou Okiayu reprises his role as the protagonist, Nube, while Studio KAI is handling animation production.
