The series gained popularity for its thrilling stories inspired by school ghost stories and urban legends, showcasing Nūbē's bravery as he risks his life to save his students. To commemorate the new anime production, the first teaser visual and promotional video (PV) have been released. The teaser visual features Nūbē’s hand holding a crystal ball in a school hallway, with his iconic demon hand, usually hidden by a glove, revealed within the crystal ball. In the background, a child's figure and a menacing shadow are depicted.

The first PV creates an eerie atmosphere with scenes of the school and hallway, highlighting Nube's exorcism tools, including the spirit crystal. The haunting imagery is accompanied by what sounds like a child's plea for help, adding to the spine-chilling effect.

Illustrator Takeshi Okano shared his joy, stating, "The new anime adaptation is finally here! I’ve been waiting for years to announce this. It’s been tough keeping it a secret, but now I can shout it out loud! I’m thrilled and excited for what's to come!"

Additionally, a new one-shot titled "Jigoku sensei Nube: The Hundred Stories Observation Record" will be published in the September issue of "Saikyō Jump", set to be released on August 2nd.
