The key visual, main trailer, and theme song information for the completely new original story anime "Touken Ranbu Kai: Douden Chikashi Haberau Monora" (theatrical release starting August 16), which serves as a prequel to the anime "Touken Ranbu Kai: Kyo-den - Moyuru Honnoji," have been released.

The newly released main trailer features the latest footage. This prequel to the popular anime "Touken Ranbu Kai: Kyo-den - Moyuru Honnoji" follows Yamanbagiri Kunihiro, who struggles with almost annihilating his unit during the Battle of Odawara, and Heshikiri Hasebe, newly appointed as his close aide. Alongside them, the story unfolds with six sword warriors—Tsurumaru Kuninaga, Shokudaikiri Mitsutada, Doutanuki Masakuni, and Ookurikara—setting out for the Battle of Bitchu Takamatsu Castle.

The theme song, "Nostalgia," is a gentle and tender character song performed by the six sword warriors: Heshikiri Hasebe (voiced by Tarusuke Shingaki), Yamanbagiri Kunihiro (voiced by Tomoaki Maeno), Tsurumaru Kuninaga (voiced by Soma Saito), Shokudaikiri Mitsutada (voiced by Takuya Sato), Doutanuki Masakuni (voiced by Toru Sakurai), and Ookurikara (voiced by Makoto Furukawa). The song has also been revealed in the main trailer.
