Comments from the Cast
Akio Otsuka (Doc)
"I’ve been in this industry for a long time, but this is definitely a unique role for me—perhaps even a first! Acting was one thing, but having to sing? That was the real challenge! (laughs) You might think you know the songs, but with all the new arrangements, it was quite the trial for an amateur like me! I gave it my all, so I hope everyone enjoys it in theaters!"
Daisuke Hirakawa (Bashful)
"I am honored to voice Bashful in this new adaptation of Snow White. This story has been cherished worldwide, and I myself have loved it since childhood. I never imagined I’d be part of it—let alone as one of the Seven Dwarfs! I carefully embraced every line I delivered. The original version is wonderful, but I hope many will also enjoy the dubbed version! Hi-ho!♪"
Yoshio Kojima (Happy)
"Piyaa! Happy Oppappi! I practiced my role at home so much that even my one-year-old son started laughing at my “Heigh-Ho” song! Singing was tough, and timing everything perfectly was tricky, but I kept telling myself “Daijoubu Daijoubu~” (It’s okay, it’s okay) and pushed through! I just hope this film makes everyone happy! I’ll even ask my “Piyaa” fans to watch it too! Thank you!"
Daisuke Namikawa (Sleepy)
"Being part of Snow White—what an amazing opportunity! Every character is so unique, and the voice cast is full of vibrant personalities. As Sleepy, I fully embraced the role. I even worked hard on my singing, so please listen for that! This is such a fun film, so I hope many people will come to the theaters and enjoy it!"
Satoshi Hino (Sneezy)
"I am honored to voice Sneezy in this live-action adaptation of Snow White. This is the origin story of Disney princesses, and being part of it fills me with excitement. I truly enjoyed every moment voicing Sneezy, and I hope many people will come to theaters and experience the magic!"
