A New Take on Spider-Man’s Origin Story
This new series reimagines Peter Parker’s journey to becoming the beloved neighborhood hero, Spider-Man, staying true to the spirit of the early comic books.
Set in New York City, the story follows Peter Parker, a high school freshman who unexpectedly gains spider-like abilities. With his strong sense of justice, Peter keeps a watchful eye on his city, swinging through the streets using his powerful webbing and embracing his role as the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.

Voicing Peter Parker in the Japanese dub is Yuma Uchida, known for his roles as Megumi Fushiguro in Jujutsu Kaisen and Reo Mikage in Blue Lock. Uchida has also lent his voice to various international films, including Avatar: The Way of Water and the upcoming Alien: Romulus.
"I'm a huge fan of Marvel movies, so when I received this offer, I was both nervous and excited. It’s an absolute honor to be part of this project," Uchida shared.
He further commented on Spider-Man’s universal appeal:
"As the phrase 'your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man' suggests, his charm lies in being a superhero who feels close to everyone. This series also highlights Peter Parker’s everyday life as a teenager, showing his raw and relatable emotions. His ups and downs make you want to cheer for him."
Peter Parker’s Struggles and the Temptation of the Green Goblin
The Japanese-dubbed trailer reveals a mix of Peter’s heroic efforts and teenage misadventures—oversleeping and nearly getting hit by a car, rescuing someone only to be mocked for his homemade suit, and live-streaming his crime-fighting victories for recognition.
A new challenge arises when Norman Osborn, also known as the infamous Green Goblin, enters Peter’s life. Osborn, who displays a photograph of himself alongside Captain America in his office, tempts Peter with the promise of true heroism, even gifting him a brand-new white Spider suit. But what are Osborn’s true intentions?
Will Captain America Become Peter’s Mentor?
In the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), Peter Parker has been guided by mentors like Iron Man, Nick Fury, and Doctor Strange. However, the trailer for this series teases the appearance of Captain America—could he be stepping into a mentorship role?
Producer Brad Winderbaum confidently teased,
"This is going to be an absolutely amazing series—prepare to be surprised."
