The Disney film ‘Mufasa: The Lion King’, which premiered in December 2024 and has grossed over ¥2.23 billion ($14.7 million) as of February 16, 2025, is now available for digital purchase and rental starting February 18.

To celebrate its digital release, the first 8 minutes of the movie (subtitled version) have been officially released on YouTube for free.

The Story of Mufasa Before He Became King

A follow-up to the 2019 “ultra-realistic” remake of ‘The Lion King’, this film expands on the 1994 animated classic, exploring the untold origins of Mufasa. It delves into how Simba’s father overcame trials and challenges before becoming king, embodying the film’s timeless message:
