The TV anime adaptation of ‘My Status As an Assassin Obviously Exceeds the Hero's’ (aka ‘Sutetuyo’), based on the hit light novel series by Matsuri Akai, has been confirmed for an October 2025 broadcast. The first teaser visual and PV have been released, along with the announcement of the first cast members.

With over 1.5 million copies sold across physical and digital formats, this isekai fantasy is set to captivate fans with its intense battles and intriguing character dynamics.

Story Overview

High school student Akira Oda is suddenly summoned to another world along with his classmates. While everyone receives cheat-level abilities, Akira—due to his naturally low presence—is given the seemingly ordinary class of "Assassin."

However, his stats far exceed even those of the strongest class, "Hero."
Falsely accused and forced to flee into the depths of a labyrinth, he encounters Amelia, a beautiful elf girl. Together, they embark on a journey that will lead Akira to truly master the art of assassination.
