The production of the second movie and the fourth season of the anime That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime has been officially announced. Along with this news, a commemorative illustration and a teaser video have been released.

The released illustration shows Rimuru with a determined expression, and fans are left wondering what is reflected in his eyes and what it signifies.

Additionally, the teaser video starts with familiar scenery but suddenly shifts to the major announcement. Rimuru’s and the Great Sage’s lines were specially recorded for the teaser.

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime follows the story of Satoru Mikami, an ordinary office worker who is killed by a street criminal and reincarnates in another world as a slime named Rimuru. With his newly acquired skills, Rimuru strives to create a country where people of all races can live happily. Along the way, he gains more companions through his wisdom and bravery.

The TV anime premiered in October 2018, with the second season airing from January to March and July to September in 2021. The third season is currently airing from April to September 2024.
