The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition has announced that during the Expo 2025 Osaka-Kansai, taking place from April 13 to October 13, 2025, visitors can enjoy daily Pokémon GO events within the expo grounds.

Encounter Special and Rare Pokémon

By playing the Pokémon GO app within the expo venue, various Pokémon will appear, including:
Pikachu
Snorlax
Meowth
Unown letters: E, X, P, O
These unique encounters offer a chance to catch Pokémon that are themed around the event.

AR Snapshot and 3D Photo Spots

Several 3D photo spots featuring Pokémon will be set up throughout the expo venue. Players can use the app's AR Snapshot feature to take commemorative photos with Pokémon at these locations. Additionally, these photo spots will function as PokéStops within the app, where players can encounter event-themed and rare Pokémon.
