In anticipation of the 2025 Japan International Exposition (Osaka-Kansai Expo) set to commence in April on Yumeshima Island, Japan Airlines (JAL) has unveiled the "JAL × GUNDAM FLY TO THE FUTURE PROJECT." As a highlight of this initiative, the "JAL Gundam JET" will begin domestic operations on March 3, 2025.

Special Livery Featuring Expo and Gundam Designs

The "JAL Gundam JET" boasts a unique livery inspired by the "RX-78F00/E Gundam (EX-001 Glass Feather Equipment)" from the "GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION," a private pavilion by Bandai Namco at the Expo. Additionally, the aircraft features the Expo's official mascot, "Myaku-Myaku," in its design. This special livery will adorn a JAL Boeing 737-800, serving various domestic routes. Specific flight dates and schedules will be announced on the JAL official website.

Exclusive Travel Packages with Limited-Edition Gunpla

During the Expo, JAL will offer dynamic packages combining flights from airports across Japan to the Kansai region with accommodations. These packages include a limited-edition JAL-themed Gunpla commemorating the Expo. The featured model is a 1/144 scale RX-78F00/E Gundam, complete with original decals reflecting JAL's branding. The packaging showcases the special "JAL Gundam JET" design. Tour sales are slated to begin in March.

Limited-Edition Gunpla Available Through "At-Home In-Flight Sales"

Throughout the Expo, JAL will also offer exclusive Gunpla models in JAL's original colors through their "At-Home In-Flight Sales" platform, available in limited quantities.
