To commemorate the 30th anniversary of Mobile Fighter G Gundam, the official website has released the final chapter of the side story “Mobile Fighter G Gundam Gaiden: The East is Burning Red”, written by series director Yasuhiro Imagawa.

Chapter 3 takes the story to the Guiana Highlands, where Domon Kasshu and his master Master Asia once trained. The plot revolves around Master Asia’s son, “Master Junior”, and Domon & Rain’s daughter, “Eichi Kasshu”, as they search for the legendary "Oriental Pearl", a sacred treasure containing the ultimate secrets of the School of the Undefeated of the East.

Their journey leads them to a battle against Wong Yunfat, the former leader of Neo Hong Kong, who now possesses the treasure. With Domon appearing as Wong’s bodyguard, an intense illegal Gundam Fight erupts over the fate of the Oriental Pearl!

In addition to the new episode, the official website has also revealed character designs for Domon and Rain, set 12 years after the original anime, as well as the illustration of Domon's new Gundam—the God Gundam Second!
