On February 10, the official store details for the Osaka-Kansai Expo 2025, set to open on April 13 in Yumeshima, Osaka, were announced. The store will feature exclusive collaboration items with popular manga and game franchises, including special commemorative goods inspired by Dragon Ball.

Collaboration Lineup Includes ‘Dragon Ball’ and Rumiko Takahashi’s Works

Publishing giants Dai Nippon Printing (DNP) and Maruzen Junkudo will launch the official store, “East Gate Store MARUZEN JUNKUDO,” offering a variety of limited-edition merchandise.

The Expo × Manga collaboration will highlight five globally renowned manga series:
Dragon Ball (Akira Toriyama)
Urusei Yatsura (Rumiko Takahashi)
Ranma 1/2 (Rumiko Takahashi)
Inuyasha (Rumiko Takahashi)
The Seven Deadly Sins (Nakaba Suzuki)
These legendary works will be transformed into traditional-style artworks using DNP’s cultural heritage reproduction technology “Densho-bi”, creating special visual displays inside the store.

Exclusive Merchandise Featuring Iconic Scenes

Fans can look forward to:
✔ Dual-sided printed T-shirts showcasing famous scenes from each series
✔ High-quality art posters depicting manga stories in the style of traditional folding screen paintings

Additionally, the store will offer a limited-edition ‘Tamagotchi’ collaboration and a newly illustrated original picture book featuring Myaku-Myaku, the Expo’s official mascot.
