Aquarion Myth of Emotions Episode1 Story and Scenes Unveiled
The story and key scenes from Episode 1 of the TV anime ‘Aquarion Myth of Emotions’ have been revealed. The episode will premiere on January 10, 2025 (Friday), at 12:30 AM JST on TOKYO MX and will gradually become available on streaming platforms worldwide. In addition, a non-credit version of the opening video, featuring the song sung by AKINO from bless4 and Yoshiki Fukuyama, has been released ahead of the broadcast.
This fourth installment of the "Aquarion" series commemorates its 20th anniversary. Set in Enoshima, Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture, the anime tells a grand mythological tale of love, revolving around characters who lack certain emotions. They embark on a journey that intertwines their emotional growth with the survival of the universe.
Episode 1 Story
Sakko Otori is a second-year student at Enoshima Private Academy, a school that gathers highly talented students for gifted education. Feared by nothing, Sakko is ostracized in her class due to her bold personality.
Her only confidant, childhood friend Sayo Ichiki, has passed away. At her funeral, Sakko offered a bouquet of Nadeshiko flowers. However, one day at school, Sayo reappears and starts speaking of myths and events from 12,000 years ago...
Non-Credit Opening Video
Ahead of the premiere, the non-credit opening video featuring AKINO from bless4 and Yoshiki Fukuyama performing ‘Genesis of Aquarion Myth of Emotions Ver.’ has been released. Fans may recognize this song as an arrangement of the opening theme from the first Aquarion series, with lyrics that include familiar phrases.
The video showcases interactions between characters from the mythological past and those in the modern era, as well as the combination imagery of the Aquarion Siegel, Feoh, and Tyr. The scenes unfolding in sync with the lyrics are another highlight to watch for.
