The story and preview images for Episode 1 of the anime My Happy Marriage have been unveiled. The episode will premiere on July 5 (Wednesday) at 11:30 PM on TOKYO MX in Japan, with streaming available on international platforms shortly after.

Episode 1: The Meeting

Miyo Saimori, the eldest daughter of the Saimori family, has lived a life of neglect, treated as a servant while her stepsister Kaya receives the love and care of their father Shinichi and stepmother Kanoko. Her only solace is Koji Tatsuishi, the kindhearted second son of the Tatsuishi family.

However, Shinichi decides to make Koji Kaya’s husband, while ordering Miyo to marry Kiyoka Kudo, a military commander rumored to be cold and ruthless.

Introduction: My Happy Marriage

Is this marriage a journey to despair or a miracle of fortune? Born into a prestigious family, Miyo Saimori endured mistreatment from her stepmother and stepsister after her mother’s death. Ordered to marry, her fiancé is Kiyoka Kudo, a young soldier infamous for his cold demeanor, said to drive away all his potential brides within days.

Expecting rejection, Miyo approaches the Kudo household, only to encounter a strikingly pale yet beautiful man. Despite his harsh treatment, Miyo—unable to return to her family—gradually begins to connect with Kiyoka as they share their daily lives.

This is the story of a young girl’s journey to find love and happiness.
