"My Hero Academia" New Year Visual Released: Ochaco and Nejire in Festive Attire

 The official Twitter for the anime "My Hero Academia" has been updated, unveiling a New Year visual.


The Twitter post reads, "Happy New Year. This year marks the 10th anniversary of Kohei Horikoshi's #MyHeroAcademia series! The anime is broadcasting its 7th season, and the 4th movie installment will be released this summer!!! In 2024, let's go beyond! PLUS ULTRA!!"

The released visual features Ochaco Uraraka and Nejire Hado, among others, in their New Year's kimono attire.



 The original manga, surpassing 85 million copies in circulation, is a popular series serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" since July 2014. The story, set in a world where superpowers known as "Quirks" are common, follows protagonist Izuku Midoriya (Deku) as he aims to become a hero to protect society and combat villains misusing their Quirks. He grows alongside his classmates at the prestigious U.A. High School for heroes. The TV anime's first season started in April 2016, followed by theatrical releases.


 Serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" since July 2014, the anime's first season began airing in April 2016, with movie installments also being released.

 The 4th movie installment of "My Hero Academia THE MOVIE" is set to premiere in the summer of 2024. The first episode of the 7th TV anime season (the 139th episode overall) is scheduled to air on May 4, 2024, on Yomiuri-TV and Nippon-TV.
