The opening theme song for the TV anime Sorairo Utility has been confirmed as "Be the Hero! feat. Airi Suzuki" by Masayoshi Oishi. Featuring Airi Suzuki on vocals, this duet radiates happiness, with lyrics, composition, and arrangement all handled by Masayoshi Oishi himself.

The song will be released digitally on January 3, 2025, followed by the CD release of a double A-side single, "Be the Hero! feat. Airi Suzuki / L'oN," on February 19, 2025. Comments from both artists have been shared to celebrate this announcement.
The third promotional video (PV) featuring the opening theme song has also been released. It showcases Minami Aoba, the protagonist, who discovers golf and meets Haruka Akane, a naturally talented golfer, and Ayaka Hoshimi, an aspiring influencer. Together, they embark on a journey to find their own unique "special something."

Additionally, the TV anime Sorairo Utility will begin broadcasting on January 3, 2025, airing every Friday at 1:00 AM on TOKYO MX and other channels. Episodes will also be released on streaming platforms every Friday at 2:00 AM, starting January 3.

Since this is a golf-themed anime, we invited Airi-chan, who comes from a family of professional golfers, to join the project. Thanks to her incredible talent—or perhaps because of it—the result is an absolutely amazing song that exceeded all expectations!

Anime Information

Minami Aoba feels stuck. With no special skills or aspirations, she refuses to let her high school life end as a "background character." One day, she wanders into a local golf range and is introduced to the sport by Haruka Akane, an employee with a natural talent for golf. Minami’s journey begins as she picks up a utility club, discovering the joy of golf beyond winning.

Together with Haruka and aspiring influencer Ayaka Hoshimi, Minami aims to find the moment where she can truly be the “protagonist” of her life.
