A New Chapter Begins

When asked about his plans post-My Hero Academia, Horikoshi shared:

"I feel immense pressure to follow up My Hero Academia, which I can only describe as a stroke of luck. However, I plan to work on a new manga with a fresh title as soon as possible."

Horikoshi expressed a desire to focus solely on artwork for his next project, stating, "I’d prefer to collaborate and handle just the art, but my editor insists I do everything myself again." Currently, he is crafting storyboards and progressing at a steady pace while wrapping up commitments related to My Hero Academia.
