Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo is a gag manga by Yoshio Sawai that was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2001 to 2007. Set in the year 300X, the emperor of the world starts a campaign to shave all citizens' heads, known as the "Hair Hunt." Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, a man who stands against this tyranny, uses his "Fist of the Nose Hair" martial arts to protect humanity’s hair and peace. Known for its surreal gags, parodies of other series like Dragon Ball, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, and Yu-Gi-Oh!, the series was a fan favorite, spanning 21 volumes for Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo and 7 volumes for its second part Shinsetsu Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo. The anime aired on TV Asahi from 2003 to 2005.

The play is directed and scripted by Keita Kawajiri (SUGARBOY), known for his work on stage adaptations such as Mob Psycho 100 and Cells at Work! Two live-streamed performances will be available on October 28—one at 1 PM (matinee, wide-angle view) and another at 6 PM (soirée, multi-angle view), with rewatchable streams available until November 3.
