The Pokémon Company and Crypton Future Media, Inc.'s collaborative project, "Pokémon feat. Hatsune Miku Project VOLTAGE 18 Types/Songs" (hereafter "Project VOLTAGE"), unveiled a new initiative with the release of the music video (MV) "Denki Yohou" by InabaKumori.

"Project VOLTAGE" merges the worlds of Pokémon and Hatsune Miku, celebrating their ability to enrich both reality and the virtual sphere. The project, which leverages the Pokémon series' 18 unique "types," involves the creation of 18 songs and MVs by various Vocaloid Producers, released sequentially over several months starting September 29. Each song samples iconic sounds from the Pokémon game series, bringing to life distinctive tracks sung by Hatsune Miku and featuring MVs with Pokémon and Hatsune Miku. The initial release of character designs for "Hatsune Miku as a Pokémon Trainer & her partner Pokémon" captivated fans of both franchises.
