On the 8th, the tourism information site for Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture, "Sendai Tabibiyori," announced that popular anime "Haikyu!!" characters Tsukishima Kei and Yamaguchi Tadashi have been appointed as tourism ambassadors for Sendai. This follows the appointments of characters Hinata Shoyo and Kageyama Tobio.
To commemorate their appointment, a special ceremony was held, and an appointment commemorative monument featuring a special illustration by the author Haruichi Furudate will be installed at the Sendai City Museum (open to the public from Tuesday, August 6). In addition, various collaboration projects, including the sale of special package products in collaboration with the Sendai confection "Hagi no Tsuki," have been announced.
